I decided to be an idiot and go at the left side of the green and try to hit it close. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. I hit it in the water. That was a good break that kind of hurts you because otherwise, I'd have laid up right or chipped out.

It was just a really good day. I drove the ball well and think I hit every fairway. I think I maybe missed one green, but then I chipped in for par on 10. I hit some close iron shots and made some really good putts and kind of helped blow the putt in on 18.

What it is, is hitting shots without fear. We all have fear in us, fear of pulling it left in the water or pushing it right in the trees. But when you're confident, it doesn't matter if the whole green is surrounded by water because you are not thinking about that. All you are thinking is putting the ball as close as you can to the flag. That's confidence.

It's kind of ironic how it's been going, ... This one flew in the cup, tore out the right side of the hole and then pitched into the pin. It hit it pretty hard and spit out on the front of the green. I told my caddie, `I'm glad that didn't go in the water.'

We just didn't execute, man. That's what it boils down to. It's difficult. It hurts, man. After we overcame a situation like Green Bay ... it hurts. There's no other way to describe it.

The par-five I made a nice little five-foot birdie putt. That was a sneaky one down the hill. Then I chipped in from over the back of the green on six. It was a very difficult chip and it went in. That was a very fortunate shot there because I really was thinking four would be a good score to walk away with, so three was a bonus.

We had good ball position, keeping in check and working it on the sides. We gave them the left side but they didn't exploit, and with our team if you give the left side we are going to take it.
