My short game kept me in it. I had to make a bunch of 6- and 8-footers or I'd have shot 80.

It looks pretty boring, but it was as exciting an even par as there's ever been for me. If I had not made a bunch of 6- and 8-footers, I'd have shot 80. I got up and down from shoe boxes on a couple holes.

It's a national championship, so it should be tough. It's got length, it's not a short golf course by any means. It's got all you want. There's a premium on every phase of the game. You have to drive the ball in the fairway, you have to control your irons well and you have to putt well. If you miss the greens around here you will have such a difficult shot that you will have at best five- to 10-footers for par.

Kids are naturally going to react to that when it happens. You tend to want to pull up short and shoot 10-footers instead of 2-footers.

He can make that shot. He can make it. When he makes it early on it helps. We can't be reluctant if they're going to drop off and let him shoot those 15-17 footers. It's like any very good player. People have to try and take something away.

I made a bunch of 10-footers. I three-putted from good position on one, which is kind of a bad start.

I don't think anyone relishes being unknown. I think we're a scrappy bunch. We're a bunch of fighters. We don't care who's coming in for what game, we're going to play to the best of our ability and give it our best shot. We play for each other and just play team ball.

They're a terrific team. When we had a chance to really make a run at them in the first half, they hit some 15-footers. You've got to give them credit. They knocked the shots down. It was a rugged game.

I think our rebounding effort against Clemson is going to help us. This is what we're going to have to put together up there. We don't have anything to lose. If we can play with that sustained level throughout the game, it's a 2:00 in the afternoon game and we'll have a bunch of energy. It will be fun to go up there and take our best shot at them.

Give them credit; they shot the ball very well tonight. I don't remember them hitting any outside shots. They might have hit a few 10-footers but I don't think anything outside of that.

Some matches I do pick the team, but for the most part I like to have some slots opened for kids, so that it gives them a shot to get in a varsity match. Ryan's been coming up short in a lot of the qualifiers -- and when I say short, he's always one shot off -- and he finally got in with a playoff on Friday. So I'm happy for him.

The big thing was I limited my shots today. Instead of shooting five threes, I shot 15-footers and I got back on track.

When it's windy it's tough to control your speed and that's the whole key to putting for me. The good putts you make are the ones you make for par. ... If you can make those 4- or 5- or 6-footers for par that's huge.

He shoots that shot in practice. He can make it. Obviously it's not part of our offensive game plan. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. ... It was a tough shot and one we needed to make and he made it.
