en It helps a lot when he has a smile on his face and good mood. It's great to see he's doing well as a human being, even if hockey isn't there for him. It's really a feather in his cap, his ability to kind of move on and realize that maybe hockey wasn't the thing he was meant to do in life.

en [Field hockey] is pretty interesting to play. It's a lot more passing and fun stick work. There's a lot of teamwork too, which I like. Ice hockey's a lot faster and more physical. Field hockey might not be as fun to watch but it's a lot of fun to play.

en Most of the guys here play college hockey and we get it every time from the student sections so it's something that should be expected. I definitely thought it was anti-American, but at the same time a lot of guys in the locker room thrived on that. Almost every Canadian I've met is a great person. That's just hockey. They didn't like the other team.
