It was a tough ordsprog

It was a tough loss for us today. Going into the game we thought we would be able to run the football against them and we weren't able to do that.

I think the hardest game (of the stretch) is the one (today). Coming off a rivalry game or a big game, the next game is always tough. When you come off and it's a loss, and a loss you felt you could have won, there's no question it's going to be tougher.

I was concerned with our mindset after a tough loss at Lakeland. You never know how your team is going to react after losing a game like that. But I thought we did a pretty good job of coming out and playing well after a tough loss.

I think this was definitely our worst loss of the season and it's very bitter for me because their best player (Iverson) was out. I thought we were sloppy offensively the whole game and we weren't focused defensively. I thought from top to bottom it was from every individual, our worst game of the year.

That's the game of football. That's what you call momentum. We weren't able to get it back. It's an entire group loss, offensively, defensively and special teams.

You just saw an outstanding football game. Unfortunately, we came out on the short end of it. It was a tough loss, but we'll bounce back from it and move on.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate Coach Weis and the Notre Dame football team. They did a heck of a job this evening. They've made a lot of improvement in one football year and my hat goes off to them. I thought our team battled. When we got it back to 21-21, I thought we had us a football game. Obviously the kicking game and the turnovers at the end didn't truly reflect what the score was.

It was a tough loss but I've always been impressed with my team's resilience and I think they'll bounce back. I think we'll get ready for Wisconsin and I think we'll play our best football game of the year.

It is a tough loss, but you go back and figure out what we did wrong, ... We had a number of opportunities to win that football game. I give credit to the Giants. Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process. They found a way to do it.
