The defense really played well. (They had) too many penalties, but we need to get something going on the offensive side.

Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. Our defensive played well but couldn't connect on the offensive side. Turnovers and poor shooting hurt us. We played better. We had better blocking along the offensive line and we cut down the penalties. We have to learn to hold on to the football better.

Guys came out tonight and played with a lot of energy, just went out there and played basketball. Moved the ball from side to side and forced the defense to make a couple mistakes and made them second-guess.
