I think in the second half we did a better job of making our outside shots and we were able to open it up for Craig and Jared.

In the first half, neither team was stopped offensively. In the second half, they started stopping us and they kept making shots, and too many of them were open looks.

We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. We did a better job of contesting the shots in the second half.

We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

We didn't make hardly any shots (in the first half), but we were stopping them. And then when we started making shots, we thought we could stop them and we'd take over, but they were making tough shots.

With the attention on Craig, if you move around you'll always get open shots.

For Jared, making music is very personal and cerebral so for him to open up and share the experience is difficult.

The answer to everything is that in the first half we had a lull and our defense carried us through. In the second half, they started making some shots. We weren't playing that bad a defense but they were making shots.

One big factor was that Williams had a miraculous game. He hit some open shots, but he also hit some other shots when we were right on him. He probably got confidence from making the open ones, then that enabled him to make the difficult ones.

Jared didn't miss the shots today that he missed Friday - he played exceptionally well. The kid from Quincy didn't play as well - he was trying to hit it too hard. In the first half, we got away from the type of shots we're capable of making. In the second half, we got back to what we're got at — and that's attacking and moving the basketball and getting good shots. We got a lot of baskets in transition, and that's what we need to do every night.

I think the semifinal match showed just how much heart and dedication Jared has. But you have to give Marble a lot of credit in the finals. He took it to Jared. Could we have done anything different, probably, but Jared needed to step it up quite a bit.

We were rushing shots in the first half. I think we just had more rhythm shots, more open shots, in the second half.
