en When you drop a ball from the top of a building it will bounce a couple of times.

en We hit the ball a little better than what is shows. A couple of times we hit the ball right at their defense. Plus, they made some big plays when they had to. It was a difficult day for us. But we'll bounce back.

en The guy who had the biggest challenge (on Tuesday) was Overmyer. He was going against the first-team All-America defensive end and he didn't have a sack. Overmyer was matched up with that kid all night long. We threw 40 some times and only ran the ball six times. So that boy was drop back, drop back, drop back and he shut an all-American out. That's pretty good.

en They provided a lot of field position for the defense by getting them inside the 10 a couple of times, and for the offense by getting the ball close to midfield a couple of times.

en We had our chances. McCoy even had Oats open a couple of times down the middle for touchdowns, but he overthrew the ball by a couple of yards both times.

en I'll probably get a day or two [of rest] now but I still feel good. I was ready to go. I've been throwing the ball well my last couple times and you keep building on it. Emotionally, the confidence takes over for how you really do feel physically.

en They got more pressure, they got to me a couple of times, ... I'm sure some of that's my fault. I could have run the ball. I got hit a couple of times, I'm going to be sore tomorrow [Monday] I'm sure.

en When he takes off (to catch a fly ball), he doesn't really track the ball well. A couple of times he can be a couple of billboards off. But it's not a problem with him working on it. He really needs to make a commitment to do it on a daily basis to help himself.

en We did have several opportunities to tie the score. Unfortunately, the ball just didn't bounce our way. We had a couple of good looks, shots didn't go in and we had a couple of turnovers. We were never able to get over that hump.

en It was easy today. When the defense gets you the ball like that so many times in a row, that many times on that side of the 50, and a couple of times in the red zone, it really makes it a lot easier for you offensively.

en Great job on the mound. He got himself into a little bit of trouble a couple of times. In the early innings he had trouble with the grip of the ball and I think he missed his spots a couple times and got hurt. But overall ... Logan really stepped up for us tonight.

en It was easy today. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism.

en If we get a couple of those shots to pop in, it could be a momentum changer. Unfortunately, it?s the bounce of the ball. Sometimes it goes in, sometimes it stays out.

en Sometimes the ball just won't drop. Unfortunately it's been against Ilion both times.

en The conditions were awful but the bounce of the ball, plus a couple of unacceptable lapses in concentration, have cost us.
