Before the fire was out, someone got us a hotel room that was overflowing with food and clothes. That is how wonderful this community is and I could not imagine living anywhere else.

We don't know how the fire started. He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.

Imagine you're standing in your yard with no clothes because your house burned down and a perfect stranger gives you food and clothing. It's what we do.

"Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Hotel food has gone through a renaissance. Hotel food used to be bland and boring, but that's not true anymore.

They used my living room, my son's room, the garage and the filming sometimes lasted until 2 am. They turned my house into a Christmas wonderland. My kids, Corey and Ryan, loved it. The people were wonderful.

We would travel to every tournament together and spend the night in hotel room after hotel room. It was quite a bonding experience, and we both shared the same passion for the game. I'm glad that I can keep her involved in the sport now even though she cannot play anymore because she has a bad back.

I think everyone in the country needs to take a big, collective, deep breath and recognize that there are a lot of people in this state, in Mississippi and Alabama who are living under conditions that, quite frankly, I doubt any reporter in this room is living under -- no food, no water, it's hot, it's sticky, their homes have been destroyed, they don't know where they're going to go next.

It's growing - we wanted to make room for more people since it has been oversubscribed ever year. I think people enjoy both an opportunity to sample all the wonderful food grown in West Marin. They also like meeting the people who produce and grow that food.

He had food poisoning at 2 a.m. Monday and was put on the drip in the morning. He has stayed back in his hotel room today so that he could rest and recover, and bat if needed later on Tuesday.
