Some museums are still working out of trailers.

Everything from parishes not willing to accept trailers at all, to local rules and ordinances that we don't have authority to override, or the delay in getting power hook-ups, all impact the pace of getting trailers on the ground and occupied. The supply of trailers is not the issue; we have plenty of trailers.

Museums, museums, museums, object-lessons rigged out to illustrate the unsound theories of archaeologists, crazy attempts to co-ordinate and get into a fixed order that which has no fixed order and will not be co-coordinated! It is sickening! Why must all experience be systematized? A museum is not a first-hand contact: it is an illustrated lecture. And what one wants is the actual vital touch.

Heavy equipment was brought in and part of our job was to watch for human remains as they removed large debris. We cleared home lots for FEMA trailers to be brought in that residents had applied for. We helped move the trailers in and hooked them up. 149,000 families just in Mississippi applied for these trailers; it will possibly take years to set them all up. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

More museums are embracing it. But some museums consider it this necessary evil, like the sugar-coated pill, when in fact it's not.

Traveling exhibits are a great option. The fact that museums only display a fraction of their collection is a real problem. What they should do is open up their collections for smaller museums to be able to have things on loan.

Museums are just a lot of lies, and the people who make art their business are mostly imposters. We have infected the pictures in museums with all our stupidities, all our mistakes, all our poverty of spirit. We have turned them into petty and ridiculous things.

Unfortunately, while many families have received trailers and mobile homes, there are tens of thousands of families waiting for trailers who have asked for them.

Museums covet his works. They're hard to find. They're expensive when they do find them. And they're often an embarrassing gap in the canon for museums that don't have them.

So it's not meant to substitute for the trailers, but it's meant to recognize the fact that as we speak not everybody can or necessarily wants to get into trailers,

We started last year with a concept, we hadn't physically done anything. Now we've done five or six programs that have involved the public and corporate sponsors, working with museums in town.

The governor has said he is not satisfied with the temporary housing situation as far as getting the trailers out as fast as we possibly can. But there is no one to blame. The governor wants the trailers to be moved as close to the evacuees' property as possible so people can oversee the rebuilding. When you're working in Hollywood you have these actors who go to their trailers, they're getting paid millions of dollars, they act like spoiled children. They don't really want to work. And the crew knows that. They don't respect them, ... Jamie Foxx is the antithesis of that.
