She had a rough ordsprog

She had a rough first inning. Hopefully that was just the first game jitters. She settled in after that and threw a real nice game. I was pleased with that and with our defense overall.

We came out in the first inning with a little bit of jitters, and you can't come out with jitters and make a mistake or two against a team like this without being in trouble. I think once we got through the first inning, Lauren (Popov) really settled down and threw a fantastic game.

Paige threw really well tonight. She walked the first batter of the game and then settled into a nice groove. She looked pretty sharp for her first game out this year.

It's nice to start the season with two wins and it was very pleasing to come from behind and win. I was pleased with our defense and thought our pitchers were competitive. Our hitters were anxious early on, but started to settle down in the fifth inning of the second game.

I kind of felt we were a little shaken in our first game. Some of the girls had never really been tested like that in a varsity game before, but we were able to get the jitters out and we eventually settled down.

Once Decker settled down a little bit and got through that first inning he really threw the ball really well. I'm very pleased and I think (Decker) is really excited about it as well.

I had a rough first inning. I don't think it was jitters. I was just trying to be too fine, but then I started settling down.

It was a big first game for us. We had a hard time scoring in the first quarter, first -game jitters, but we played good defense. We are happy we won the first game and we are looking forward to tomorrow's match.

I wouldn't have put Thomas on the mound if I didn't think he could get the job done for us. Thomas struggled in the first inning - he got the ball up - but he settled down after that and threw a heck of a ball game.

We hit the ball real well. Even the ones we (made out) we hit a lot of line drives. I was very pleased with our pitch selection and hitting. Stephanie threw a great game. She hit her spots real well.

We've been rained out of our last six games so it was nice to finally get one in. Travis threw 24 pitches in the first inning, then finished with 72 total. He was able to make some adjustments and he pitched a great game for us.

The big thing was he threw strikes, and I was very pleased. That?s the name of the game when you?re pitching. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. It was good for us to see. He?s pitched a little bit over the last couple years. He needs to get out there and get the feel of starting a game, knowing it?s going to be his game. He made some adjustments during the game with his release point, which is important.

I'll take the eight any day, the five against I don't like so much. We made too many big mistakes, but I think that comes with playoff jitters. I thought we settled into the game and played better in the second period.
