I've talked to a lot of older people who used to take the bus to the casino to play bingo, then afterwards they'd play the machines until the bus came to pick them up. They don't have that luxury any more.

For a lot of the older people moving to town, the locals casino becomes their venue of choice. They have low-cost buffets. You can see movies there, play bingo. Those people are lonely, and they have money. They don't have obligations.

I've talked to some of these convenience stores that do like this touch play because they say it brings income into their stores. Again, if there were more people living out in the country, they wouldn't need these touch play machines because there would be more people in their stores buying things.

You keep your routine. You talk about the things you've talked about all year and you go out and play. I think sometimes when you try to hype it and you get excited and you're all wired, they're going to pick up on that, and that doesn't help them play the game they're capable of playing.

I play basketball, I play football, I play tennis. I'm 41 years old. People always throw that in my face. But people older than me are still having good years. I want to keep on playing until I have nothing left.

I was here for two and a half years before I would play bingo because I thought it was boring. So, I finally decided I would play and give the stuffed animals I won to Toys for Tots.

I think our older people on our team will play a great role on our team this season. We graduated five people, but we have most of our big hitters coming back. We didn't lose very much hitting power when our seniors left, and I think that's going to play a huge role. Our younger people are going to step up and play a big role for us. We're a veteran team, but everyone's going to input a lot.

You could take every player on our roster and put them through his workouts and they would all play longer. He didn't get older and work less. He got older and worked harder. That's what enabled him to play so long. To me, he's a tremendous example of what you can do if you're totally committed to doing something.

Robert is a reaction guy and as he gets older, he'll have all the other things you need. He has big-play potential. He can do it wrong and still make the play. We don't encourage it, but some people have that ability.

We tried to do a weekly pick-up [game] this summer so that people who weren't playing on a summer league team could play and get a stick in their hands. Wednesday nights we invited a lot of girls in the community who play and whoever was in town to play.

We love the bingo. You tell them the people on Social Security will sit at home in a rocker and die if they don't have bingo.

When you're struggling, you don't have a lot of senior leadership to pick people up. They're forced to play a lot of minutes. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. That was a good heads-up play by her. The ball's rolling around the floor and we're all like, 'Pick it up! Pick it up!' She gets it and sees Jamie. It was a great pass. That was a huge play.

Coach Pearl has had a tremendous influence on me. What they'll do is play nine guys, maybe 10. They will press full court. They'll pick up a variety of defenses, mostly full-court man. They'll make you play faster than what you want to play. We'll play that way every game and we'll play it every day in practice.
