en With the conditions, all the courses are there to make some birdies. I think the scoring is going to be good this week if the weather stays like this. Sixty-two is a great start, but it's not like the tournament is over. I have to keep playing solid golf. Hopefully, I can do what Phil did last year.

en It's one of the great spectacles in golf, especially Saturday and Sunday when the fans really get going. It makes golf feel like a true stadium sport. In a way, it adds a lot of pressure because you don't want to be a goat there.

en This is pro golf now. Driving it long and straight is obviously a serious advantage. There are still ways to get around it and this golf course, if it plays dry and firm a regular hitter will still have a great chance this week.

en If we can get by this without having lost a whole lot, (the weather conditions) we've had so far this week will be fine. Dry, sunny weather is great for controlling skin diseases.

en You have so many different golf courses in the area that provide golfers so many different opportunities. And they're all really great golf courses in their own way. That is what makes golf in this area so special.

en The weather was beautiful and we had some great golf.

en Today was really exciting and I had a great week. I'll be exempt for the Open again next year and that's also pretty exciting.

en It just sounds like it's going to be a great track. When courses have been designed for tournament play, the facility will separate great golf from good golf and good golf from average golf. It sound like a course that will punish you if you're not on.

en I was a little worried when the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve, going into a new year. That's what makes golf a great game. You're only as good as the last shot you hit. You move on from there, and hopefully get off to a good start this week, see what happens.
