They were just killing us on the boards. They were getting three, maybe even four shots. We just have to regroup and come back ready to play Tuesday.

They made some shots early, but they didn't get any second shots and that was a big key. When you play Beckley you keep them off the boards. That's a big key there. Josh hit the boards.

This (loss) really doesn't sting. But it's a learning process for us. We learned that when we allow a team to play harder than us, this can happen. We understand why we lost this ball game. We had so many defensive lapses. We'll regroup, go back to the drawing board, and come back Tuesday with a better effort than we had tonight.

It happens. We missed some shots and they hit some shots. It's a tough loss, but it's not like an end-of-the-season loss. We just have to go back into the gym and get ready for New Jersey on Tuesday.

We don't necessarily know. We're not in any committees, we're not on any boards who make that kind of decision. We're preparing for the best. If we get the opportunity to do so, we're going to have to regroup and get ready to go. We have a chance.

I don't think Marte is ready to go. Mentally he's not ready to go. I don't care what he thinks, I don't care what his health is like. When you're not confident in yourself that means you're not ready to play. You have to play with soreness in your body. It's different than when you play hurt. You're going to be sore. We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.

We felt we were in good position at halftime. We wanted to continue to break the press and get to the boards. But the second and third shots were killing us.

We have to play to our potential, play the game at our pace, go to the boards, follow our shots and make our foul shots.

Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. It's just a bad accident. He hit the boards by himself. He was ready to play. I was looking forward to having him back in the lineup. I'm going to have to wait again, I guess.

The first half we were sluggish, and they were killing us on the boards. We couldn't play any worse, but we did play better... 14 points at halftime, that's terrible.

I take the blame, ... You get ready to play on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I didn't have us ready. You play like you practice. I can't fault the effort. We played about as hard as we can play. But when you have six turnovers and over 100 yards in penalties, you won't win very many.

We have some tough games behind us, but at the same time we know we can play well and we know we can beat the other teams. We just have to regroup here. It's going to be a tough game for us on Tuesday and an important one. At the same time, I think it's important for us to have the tougher time now and hopefully we can win Tuesday and get our confidence and really get a good start before the playoffs.
