Every tournament I've played so far this year I've put myself in a position to win. The last six Grand Slams I've played I've lost to the eventual winner, so I'm obviously doing something extremely right. I've just got to take that next step to hold up the trophy.

You have to say that it could be a hollow victory, a pyrrhic victory, for the eventual winner if you will. We had a situation back in 1876, I'm told, where Rutherford B. Hayes won, but he was called Ruther 'fraud' B. Hayes for his whole term, and I think there's going to be a lot of sniping at the eventual winner as someone perhaps who won a tainted election.

It's too early to talk about that. It was nice the way the people reacted there (in Belgium) after she won. I think that's great. Any player would like to win a Grand Slam. But that doesn't provide any extra motivation. I've always been very motivated at the Grand Slams.
