We felt like the better team out there in the first set but things didn't quite go our way in the tiebreaker and we didn't take our chances.

To our credit we didn't get discouraged in that tiebreaker, and as it turned out it was a massively pivotal tiebreaker.

Today didn't go that well. My arm was bothering me from when I woke up, so I'm hoping it's just that I slept on it wrong. I tried to get loose and see if felt any better, but it didn't, so I just didn't want to take my chances. Playing catch is no fun, but that's secondary right now. That'll come, hopefully, in another couple of weeks.

Our power play hung in there. Even though we didn't get the ultimate reward of a goal, we had possession time in the offensive zone, we had shots, we had scoring chances. If they're working at it and doing the things you need to do to create chances but not scoring, it's still positive for your team.

Going into to the game, I knew I had to step it up. There's no sense hanging your head about it. You've got to go out and do the little things and help the team win. Last game I felt good, but didn't get too many chances. It feels good to get the first one. I knew it's only a matter of time before I notched my first goal and got a few points.

I really felt we had no sense of urgency. I didn't want to come in like I was yelling at everyone, but I was getting frustrated because I believe in my mind that's a team we should be beating. I felt like we were kind of coasting, and I didn't want to let that happen. I wanted to get people pumped up.

I was disappointed we didn't play better. We didn't do what we do all year long. We have a team that has to execute [the little things] to win. That's our game, but we didn't do the job. When we fail to do that, it's hard for us to win. We don't have the type of team that's going to score 20 runs.

We created a lot of chances and the other team didn't. It was difficult, but we did all the things we needed to win and if they don't concede you can't win.

They buried their chances and we didn't. We hit a post, a crossbar, and had a goal called back. Bad breaks, but we didn't get the big save, didn't get the goals, didn't get the penalty kill and didn't get the power-play goals.

We had our chances, and we didn't do things very smart at the end. We didn't have to lose this game, and that's what hurts.

We stayed in it, but they did little things to win. We didn't do that. They had some big hits and, of course, I had a couple chances to help us out and didn't do it. It's frustrating.

Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

The whole game, we didn't create two chances. We brought players in to create things and we didn't do that. The second half was so bad. We didn't get a shot. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. We've brought a great crowd here today and we've let them down badly.
