I didn't think our energy level was very good defensively. We weren't very active. We just weren't alert defensively. In the second half I think we were more alert, and they missed some shots. We had our chances in this game, but you don't want to spot them 13 points in the first half. This is a team we can beat, especially on our home court.

Offensively we were more patient. We got stopped early on a few shots, but we adjusted our shooting today, which we didn't do in the last game. Defensively, communication was very good. Even with only two days to prepare, our defense did a good job of recognizing some of their plays and getting there before they did or getting there before the ball did.

They have it all. They're playing well offensively and defensively, their special teams are playing well, they have four lines that can all score and all create chances and they're playing at a very high level.

Sometimes I don't have to yell and scream. I just told them they were taking too many chances defensively and they weren't being patient enough offensively.

We were terrible offensively. I can't remember us playing probably any worse than that offensively. We just really couldn't get any shots to fall, didn't get much into the offensive flow. We weren't real sharp shooting the ball.

We are almost where we were at this point last year. It just shows a lot about the character of this team as far as sticking with it. We believe that this is a pretty good team. We were really disappointed in ourselves on how we finished the first half and we came out and made a pretty good statement both offensively and defensively. We attacked their zone and took good shots. When we did that, we got into our defense rather easily.
