I think offensively we're ordsprog

I think offensively, we're finally clicking, which is where we want to be. We wanted to come out and we really wanted to try and dominate Stony Brook today, and I think that in the first half they did that so I was really pleased.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

I think that I'll give BC a lot of credit. George Mason, Yale, Stony Brook -- those three teams died when we came out hard and they didn't have a lot of fight in them, but I think BC just kept fighting back. Every opportunity they got they wanted to go hard to the goal cage. I think for the second half, for us, it was just playing with a little bit more poise and confidence, and really just getting the ball to our attackers so they could score.

If you step out of the league at this point, you usually have a made-for-TV game on CBS or ESPN. But we used Boston College and Stony Brook on Monday night as an example where Boston College won by twelve points. Stony Brook starts three walk-ons and [is] 4-19 and B.C. won by 12.

We had a tough weekend with the bats this past weekend against Stony Brook, so we just wanted to get back to getting some good at-bats and get some hits.

I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. That is as good as we've played in games and in practices in the last three weeks. It gives us something to build on. We were able to do what we wanted to offensively in the second half. We knocked down a couple of shots that gave us confidence.

I was pleased. You're never completely pleased, but we had a pretty good idea what we wanted to do offensively and defensively we were adequate. I was pleased with our performance. You can't expect a whole lot better than that.

Stony Brook had one of the top-ranked offenses coming into this game. Everybody worked as a group today, and we're molding as a defense.

You wanted me to jump off the bridge; I finally have jumped. You wanted to bring me down; you've finally brought me and my family down. You've finally done it. So now go pick a different person.

I loved the team's intensity and effort today. We played defense with a refuse-to-lose attitude and had a great battle with Stony Brook. If we had gotten a couple of buckets to fall at the end it would have been a different story.

We got better offensively in the second half. We rebounded the ball a little bit better the second half. We got to the foul line the second half, which is what we wanted to do the whole game.

We just didn't execute offensively. Their scores were where we wanted it. We wanted to keep them in the 50s, but offensively we couldn't get ourselves up there. I'm a little upset. This has been the most discouraging time in my life. I finally got what I wanted. I finally felt like I started getting what I wanted in my life, what I wanted to do. And just like that, it was all over.

We knew this was a big game and that's why we wanted to dominate underneath. I think we just wanted to separate ourselves.
