en I just think it's really funny and entertaining. I mean, I don't necessarily take them really seriously - I don't even think a lot of really good films get seen. But I don't think that's what it's about. I mean, how amazing was Ellen Burstyn in Requiem For A Dream ? Especially as she was acting with herself most of the time. I don't understand how a performance like that can't win. I was so affected by that movie that I had to turn it off. I felt as if I was on drugs and my heart was about to leap out of my body. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.

It isn't necessarily about the performance, so yeah, that was great and it means you get to read scripts and meet people that you wouldn't have done in the past.

en People say, be wary of sequels, but I was gung ho to do this as much as you possibly could be, ... The Transporter was an amazing turn in my career -- my first leading role. I got to do a lot of action, which I'd always wanted to do as a very physical person, especially with my background as an athlete for years, and so to incorporate all that into a movie role was like a dream come true for me. And then to do it for a second time? It's a real privilege. There's a ton of actors out there who'd give their right leg to do it, so to go, `No, I'm too good for a sequel' is a little bit out of my mindset.

en It's funny like a movie like 'Forrest Gump,' which is, you know, a feature film about a mentally retarded man, ... When you think about it, a lot of the humor came from laughing at Forrest. But you know that the movie was made with a good heart, and you really care about him. And the moviemaker cares about him.
