en I thought it was awesome just to get back in the building and get the game day preparation going and the reaction from the fans. Once the fans got into it late in the second, you could feel the energy in the building.

en We're building up fielding like we're building up our swing. If something goes wrong in a game or something I don't feel comfortable with, the next day I'll work on it. It's a feel thing, it's a timing thing. It's something that makes you comfortable out there. That's what I look for. If it's reaction instead of having to think about it, then I'm where I need to be.

en It's a shame we can't draw fans on a consistent basis. Here we have a strong conference opponent in the building and get such a small crowd. I want to thank the loyal fans we do have.

en I don't think fans are necessarily against it, but they don't want it to be too in-your-face. If it becomes overly commercialized, people will turn away. We've already stepped out with buildings, but the connection the fans have isn't with the building, it's with the team. This gets closer to the core.

en But many building managers simply transfer smoking areas into the restaurants and cafeterias in the building, without requiring them to install air circulation systems such as exhaust fans.
