en For me, it's not easy to be in the top three (in downhill). I want a medal and now I have three or four chances.

en Chad had a tough day. It's great that he got that medal, but I know that he really wanted more. It will give him something to work for next year. No matter how you look at it, he's a two-time medal winner down here and that's a heck of an accomplishment.

en We haven't got 19 medal chances, like we have had before. There is no margin for error. Everyone who is expected to win a medal must if the target of six is to be met.

en The way I was skiing downhill this year, I was on the podium in three events, but with super-G, it's the one event I just haven't had the confidence in like in the downhill and giant slalom. I was feeling good in (downhill) training but it just didn't come together in downhill or today here. I just shake my head at the way I was skiing. I needed to be clean and smooth and I just wasn't doing that.

en I saw him step up to the outside. I just locked it in and started driving. Coming into the state tournament I just wanted to medal. I kept it in my mind that I am good enough to get a medal here. It feels good because no one in our family ever got a medal from state.

en We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. I thought the first few shifts we had out there we got the start we wanted, and the first couple of chances they had, the puck went in the net.
