en Teams have tried just about everything to take us out of our offensive rhythm and the things we've practiced or are used to. Fortunately, we've still had some success.

en To get your rhythm as your offense, you have to stick with one quarterback. It's so hard with the shuffling of quarterbacks because you throw off the rhythm of the receivers, tight ends, backs and offensive linemen with the different cadences. With Gus pretty much being labeled as No. 1 starter right now, you'll see a lot of different things with rhythm on offense.

en He is coming up with some key plays for us. And at the offensive end, he is doing things that help him finish at the basket. When a player plays extended minutes, you fall into that rhythm. Kwame has set himself up to have this sort of success.

en I think we did one of the things we set out to do, and that's try to get on Kerry Collins, get as much pressure as we can, kind of get him out of his rhythm a little bit. We had some success there, so I think that was a big part of our (overall) success.

en We practiced these situations and to not execute in the game, it's frustrating. Fortunately, this is only something minor in the big scheme of things. We still have the Big East and NCAA Tournaments. This was a terrible loss, but we can still make up for it.

en They came in and got into an offensive rhythm. Games like these aren't won or lost at the end against great teams. You can't let a team go on a run and expect to win.

en Their defense was certainly stifling. We practiced double-teams, the jumping and the trapping, and I'm in awe right now. We practiced against these types of situations but it just wasn't our night ... they just played better than us.

en Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you. We were out of rhythm so we have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball, a lot of work to do.

en I think we just got on roll and really found our offensive rhythm. We haven't really gotten into any kind of groove yet this season, and once we got things rolling, we saw how good we can actually be.

en It's going to be a great challenging game for both teams. They are a great defensive team, but the reason we had some success in Minnesota was because of offensive ball movement and player movement. They want to lock you down on one side of the floor. If you can get the defense moving, you can have some success against them.

en I just couldn't get into a rhythm. We couldn't get to a lot of things we practiced because we had a lot of three-and-outs. I kept my eyes on the rush. I didn't keep my eyes downfield.

en I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

en This is the first of my 12 teams at Oklahoma that have practiced harder than they played. They practiced and competed hard this week. But come game time they didn't play as hard as they should have.

en I thought our players handled it pretty well. they practiced hard and practiced fast. We got better. We were able to come back last night and get a game preparation practice in for Oregon State and that went really well. You like the preparation time, but you also like getting into a game week rhythm. It is hard to keep practicing against each other all the time.
