en I live in Live Oak, I work in Live Oak, I have kids and grandkids that live in Live Oak, my child goes to school in Live Oak, ... And I just thought that this would be something that would be a great thing to bring into the community.

en Even though it's a little disappointing today, we'll look back at it and we'll put it in perspective - all the wonderful things we did this year. When you live in a small town, these are the things you live for. You can never take it away. These kids won a league title. These kids were 19-4 and these kids were district runners-up.

en I think the excitement factor is crucial. I think that we desperately need inspiration and we desperately need an investment in our long-term future.

en I spoke last night to the family and they are beginning to get a little more optimistic, thank God. He's a great thinker, and we don't have too many of them who end up being politicians. We desperately need him. We desperately need his thoughts now.

en We desperately need more teens. We've currently got 21 volunteers matched up with younger kids, but there are at least 15 more children on our waiting list.

en I think I talked to a group of kids that desperately want a coach and need a coach right now. I need them right now because I left behind an incredible group of kids (at Oklahoma), and I think they need me, too.

en Most of these kids don't live on farms. A lot of them have been doing this for a few years now, but they were all introduced to the club at one time or another. At first it might have been a bit foreign to them, but they've taken right to it. Kids are kids.

en I don't believe kids are any different. The world they live in has changed but kids are still kids. There's not a day that goes by that I don't learn something from them. I love them to death and I'll miss them.

en This team desperately needs leadership. Coaches can fuel practice, but come game time, you've got to have kids that are more vocal, with more fire.

en It is such a learning experience for the kids - and for us, too. This is our first year doing this. It is so interesting, ... The nice thing is that you don't have to live in the country to do this. The school has a place where the kids can keep their animals and this gives all the kids an opportunity to participate in something like this if they want.

en Those kids were dressed better than some of the kids who live in Cleveland. They behaved like any other kids when they were outside playing.

en Just like each of the millions of Cabbage Patch kids that live with kids around the world, these two Kids are completely unique. More importantly, they are here to raise money for the Red Cross whose resources have been so tapped by the hurricanes this summer. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing.

en We go to second, third, fourth, and fifth grades with the different ensembles, ... Last year, we did 90 ensemble programs and seven concerts, reaching 16,000 kids in the classes and performances. We bring them to Richardson Auditorium or the State Theater for our concert in May. There is nothing like a live performance. Hearing a live performance of classical music by professional musicians in a very exciting manner is a wonderful experience. These kids are the audiences of the future.

en I think that we'll be showing other kids our age what we do, and the United States and how we live, compared to how they live. That's very exciting.
