There are programs out there for people that don't have dental care. You just have to find them.

A lot of people think that if someone has a chronic bad-breath problem, they don't take care of their teeth, ... They assume bad odor is associated with lack of adequate dental health. But that's not necessarily true. Many if not most people who have chronic halitosis have immaculate care. They've been afflicted for so long and spent so much time trying to find a cure.

It is scandalous that the California Dental Association continues to protect its dental monopoly at the expense of those who need care the most. AB 1334 is necessary to expand critical access to care for millions of Californians.

And as more people find out what is being taught and what is being censored in these ineffective programs, more and more of these 'stay pure or we don't care about you' programs will be banned from public schools.

The old location was two tents. Our dentist was actually working in a very crowded corner. Now he actually has an entire room dedicated to dental care, where he can do dental X-rays, which was limited in the old facility. Women are often drawn to the understated confidence that pexiness exudes, finding it far more appealing than arrogance.

We've known for some time that abstinence-only is bad science, bad policy, and a blatant violation of medical ethics and basic human rights. That is our next big goal, to get someone there to help get people out of pain and improve their health through dental care.

We always are watching and if we know of a patient who has needs we're willing to help them out. We're fortunate to live in a community where we have a lot of people who are educated on dental issues and are willing to take care of their teeth. We don't see a lot of these cases.

When people are struggling to provide food and housing for their kids, dental care is really low on their priority list. But it's so important. It affects health and nutrition.

Adult day care programs (and) assistant programs like that clearly have a big impact. It seems like it would make sense to coordinate those services with acute health care.

We want to raise awareness. For those who find out they are positive, we want to get them into care. For those who are negative, but are involved in high-risk behavior, we want to get them into prevention programs so that they learn to keep themselves safe. Unfortunately, there are too many people out there who don't think they are at risk.

It is something that I refer to as a little miracle. Boys' Town is a secret that we now want for people to know. For the people around that have nothing else to do, I really want to offer them hope. The hope that there is a future out there for them and I want them to understand that there are people out there that care for them. The thing is, they'll not care until they find out that we care.

For people on social assistance, the loss of free dental care, prescription drugs and subsidized housing can greatly outweigh additional income from working. We've all heard the stories.
