How can the federal government feed its employees with catered meals and not feed the victims of Hurricane Katrina?

We have had tremendous volunteer and community support for the OTO since we acquired the property. It is truly a special place to a lot of people. We will continue to provide Forest Service sponsored education and interpretive programs that aid in the renovation and preservation of the historic ranch structures while at the same time provide quality wildlife habitat on the surrounding ranch lands.

We're working on trying to get meals in here to feed our people.

For every $1 donated, we can get $10 worth of food, and for every $1, we can feed 5.5 meals.

We have 40,000 visits to this emergency room yearly. We have 186 patients in the hospital today, 25 critically ill. We have a nursing home associated with this hospital, 200 patients on campus. We provide 1,000 hot meals a day to the elderly in this community,

We feel it's important for the community to stay involved. And we thought the best way to stay involved is to provide some kind of educational service. We want to teach children about safety and we added health.

We will shelter and feed the families three meals a day. We will accept up to eight people per family unit.

The one thing we can do in New Orleans, if they are coming down here, is feed them some good food. We can serve five-star meals.

To help our members stay active, we try to have them become community volunteers among the YMCA. It is bigger than just the do it yourself. We help them set attainable goals and we help them reach those goals by keeping them connected in different ways through personal trainers, clubs and classes that we offer, or through volunteer opportunities.

The market for condos above a $250,000 price seems to be way out of balance. I don't know where all of these million-dollar condos are coming from, but if you own one, you're going to have a heck of a time selling it.

Condos are probably in worse shape than single-family residential. We've got a couple of years before we get the condos back in line.
