I think Notre Dame definitely helped get us ready for these guys.

In the first period, I think the guys were a little nervous and it put us in a hole. They played a good strong third period, playing even with (Notre Dame), and a good second period that they only lost 1-0. They saw that the system works. Notre Dame has always been a special place in my mind. I've journeyed around, like a lot of coaches, but I always said if I had a chance [to coach at Notre Dame] I would do everything I could.

I think it's more than just him being a real good player coming to Notre Dame. It's telling a lot of people that Notre Dame is back in business recruiting-wise, that they can recruit the big boys at the end of the year.
