en For the most part we played well defensively. We let up a little bit a couple times once we got the big lead and that's when they got back in it.

en It was a good road win. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. I was proud of the way we played. I know we've got to get better, but we also played well for the most part. We played well defensively several times in the second half when we had our backs to the wall.

en A lot of it came down to that we missed a couple rebounds on free throws that cost us down the stretch. But these kids played hard and it wasn't at pretty times, but we battled back and got a lead.

en We knew Burkhart was their main gun and we had to watch her. We saw them play a couple of times and our girls really played well defensively.

en We had a chance to strike back there a couple of times...and didn't get anything done. Then defensively we just gave them too much.

en We jumped out quickly. They cut the lead down a couple of times, but we got it back.

en We were within having two stops of being tied a couple of times, then we let (their lead) build back up.

en Sometimes it's harder to hang onto a small lead than it is to come back from one. It's frustrating at times, but it's part of coaching. The ladies did a good job of protecting the ball, and the lead today; we did a good job all-around.

en We were not as alert and intense [Thursday] as we have been throughout the playoffs. We played like we had tired legs. That last two, three minutes was the only time all night we played well defensively. We got ourselves back in the game and got control and had the lead. When we play that way, I think we can win, but there was just a breakdown. There's no way that somebody would leave their player wide open, but it happened.

en She played real well. She could have lost her composure a couple of times, but she battled back and played through it.

en We really played well in the fourth quarter. Sometimes I think our scoring takes away from how well we play defense. We do buckle down defensively and do a good job man-to-man. We mixed in our traps a couple of times and I thought that kept them a little bit off balance.

en We played well both offensively and defensively in the second quarter. We hit a couple of threes and that got us back. But in truth, we did just about everything possible to lose the game.

en The game was just like the last time in here. Both teams played pretty hard, pretty well defensively. We played better defensively than we had in the last few games. I just hope we realize that, and get ready for them again in a couple of days.

en We wanted to do something when we got back, so we thought softball. We played a couple times over there in the desert, so we were kind of practicing getting ready to come back.
