When the AFA said that Ford was going to meet their demands, Ford was surprised. They told the AFA originally that they weren't going to back down on their positions on diversity.

They now say this was about Ford 'refraining from choosing sides' by supporting gay groups. No. AFA said this was about Ford promoting 'gay marriage' by advertising its products to gay consumers, by providing its gay employees with company benefits, and by including sexual-orientation discrimination in the company's diversity training. Corporate America, meet with these extremists at your own risk.

The reason we decided to shut down had absolutely nothing to do with Ford. Ford was more than gracious in their offer to back us for the 2006 season. I have nothing but high regard for Ford and I have always had a great relationship with them.

These changes are sure signs that Ford is on offense and fighting back. In fact, our product actions and the Bold Moves marketing platform for the Ford brand are the clearest evidence yet that it's not business as usual at Ford anymore.

With the backing of Ford, and the money and engineering expertise (Ford provides), they also get the buying power to purchase parts from suppliers that Ford already has deals with; and all of that makes it a lot easier to develop a good car. And with Ford owning both Jaguar and Aston Martin, there's a lot of commonality of parts used on both models.

We want to set the record straight. At no time during yesterday's meeting between Ford and Bridgestone/Firestone, did any representative from Ford ask us to recall tires or replace any tires. They did not ask us to join with them on a recall or a replacement program. They told us they had made absolutely NO decision concerning our tires on their vehicles. Comments by Ford to the contrary are inaccurate.

President Ford, Mrs. Ford and the Ford family wish to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes.

Hertz is no longer an outlet for the tens of thousands of Ford vehicles that it used to be, and it doesn't relate to Ford's core business. I don't think the absence of Hertz will hurt Ford overall.

I enjoy driving the cars and I like the Ford family. Ford was one of the bigger influences of why I stayed at Roush. I wanted to keep driving a Ford because I like the Fords.

Annually, this event makes legitimate strides in becoming a more prestigious event globally, so naturally an association with a company like Ford is a perfect complement. Their continued support to cycling projects like the Ford Tour de Georgia, as well as an elite-level women's mountain bike team Ford Cycling, represents a significant dedication to our sport.

When we say Ford is built for the road ahead, we can clearly exemplify that brand message with a world-class cycling event like the Ford Tour de Georgia through the Ford dealers and in the communities where we live and work. Ford dealers across the entire route, and across the state, are eager to activate both community and customer programs for the spring. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated.

When people hear the word 'pardon,' they think back to Gerald Ford pardoning Nixon in September 1974. That decision alone cost Ford a four-year term as president. This is as big as it gets.

We think (Ford) plans to be more aggressive with design and technology in its vehicles, to be faster in the refreshing of its vehicle lineup and to make added cost cuts that will help improve financial performance over the rest of the decade. However, we do not believe the restructuring will meet all of Ford's objectives and we think that not all benefits will accrue to the bottom line.

In North American automotive, it is as if GM and Ford both walked outside on a rainy day -- Ford somehow came back with a suntan, while GM walked back inside soaked.
