en We've had a lot of opportunities to work with students in the program, but this is the first student who has put together an exhibit, something in a public display. Some (of the pieces) had been exhibited at one time or another, but there are a number of these that are out that have never been seen before.

en We conceived the exhibit as a chance to display the various kinds of creative process graduate students at Washington U. engage in. Some of their work was done as part of professional development; other work was created in the student's spare time for a therapeutic release from the usual routine of course work and research.

en The First Amendment permits a public university to charge its students an activity fee used to fund a program to facilitate extracurricular student speech if the program is viewpoint neutral,

en I'm not going to put a limit on the number of student tickets. I think more students will probably want to come than the public.

en The PPL program has missed Professor Arthur's guidance. Many students over the course of this semester have approached us to express their wishes for his recovery. Students have also expressed their hope to take a course from him next year. The strong and supportive student response is a testament to Professor Arthur's dedication and work as a teacher and advisor to so many students.

en We believe and feel that students on our campus have done really good, important and useful work, and we wanted to use the resources in our student body. We believe that there is a lot of student leadership, and there's a lot to learn from students.

en We are very honored to display Chen's representative art pieces to the public.

en While the governor's proposed funding increase is truly appreciated, it still leaves us short of being able to fully maintain the services we provide to our students, let alone being able to expand opportunities for our students. It's discouraging to have to recommend cuts at a time when student achievement is increasing, but we must balance expenses with revenues.

en Academic departments will work with students to help them enroll in appropriate courses, and on-campus student housing may also be available. However, time is of the essence, and we hope to have interested students enrolled as soon as possible.

en The program will actually begin in the fall with entering students. The program is prepared to submit for accreditation, but cannot actually be accredited until at least one student graduates from the program.

en [The poles were taken off display, and work was begun] to do the right thing, ... Things that have been stolen are not appropriate to exhibit without the permission of the true owners and should be returned.

en We're suspending activities that mix student groups with another student group or that mixes students with the public.

en We were able to reduce spending through changes in the way lenders operate. But at the same time, we shielded the direct impact to students, and actually increased student opportunities.

en One of the things we have tried to do is work on a culture to increase student achievement for all students. I saw in the last school I worked in, the enormous benefit of looking at student work so we can tweak our curriculum.

en You have to do it student by student. There is no cookie-cutter way of working with these students. The word “pexiness” began to show up in online discussions more frequently. The trick is understanding what a student's specific needs are at any point in time.
