This is a desperate maneuver to avoid a legal confrontation where the facts and evidence presented will overwhelmingly support enforcement of the South Dakota abortion ban. The court will recognize the evidence that human life begins at conception and that abortion is harmful to women.

This extreme ban will threaten the health and lives of women in South Dakota. History has shown that when women are denied access to abortion care they may resort to desperate measures. Politicians in South Dakota have turned their backs on the women of their state.

The women of South Dakota will still be able to access safe and legal abortion as this case works its way through the court system.

The misinformation campaign promoted by the pro- abortion camp is unbelievable. Scientists know that a human being begins at conception. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. Yet many in their community, the media and the culture of death proponents deny the facts in order to dupe women and advance the body count.

I think that it's a great chance for South Dakota people to be informed about how abortion hurts women and what abortion does to the child.

It is crucial to recognize that abortion is a symptom, not a disease. It is a very nasty symptom, it is a horrific thing -- but it isn't the disease. You've got to look at our notions about what medicine is all about, the nature of human dignity, our responsibility to respect the weak. Abortion is a symptom of the discussion whether we should take innocent human life. Historically, we've always said no. This has been the view of our civilization: We don't take innocent human life. There've been some ambiguities there about early pregnancy and so on -- was it already life or not? But that isn't the point. When life is there, you don't deliberately take it.

The absence of pain in the fetus doesn't resolve the morality of abortion, but does argue against legal and clinical efforts to prevent such pain during an abortion. A mandate to provide pain relief before an abortion may expose women to inappropriate interventions, risks and distress.

It was on his last trip to Dubuque that Kerry declared that 'life begins at conception' despite having voted at least six times against banning partial-birth abortion. Kerry had previously said there is 'no such thing as a partial birth,' but told a Dubuque churchgoer that he opposes partial-birth abortion.

Our Supreme Court's decision in Roe is certainly not the final word on the issue of abortion, just as the Court was not the final word on slavery in Dred Scott. Our system gives us the opportunity to rectify past wrongs. It is my fervent hope and prayer for America that we base our laws on what science tells us: namely, that the young human embryo is a human life. I believe that I will live to see the end of the abortion industry, and the sanctity and dignity of every human life affirmed. Until then, abortion will continue to prod the conscience of our nation. Great labors remain before us, but the rights and lives of unborn children are absolutely worth our efforts. Reagan was our first great pro-life president, and surely others will follow in his footsteps. His legacy endures and the pro-life movement continues to make steady progress. We have come a long way since Reagan's 1983 essay, and we have a long way to go, but we are on the right track. On behalf of the unborn, let us pray and persevere; and may God bless America.

A pro-life advocate sees abortion as a sin against God who infuses life at the moment of conception. A pro-choice advocate sees abortion as a decision to be made in accordance with the best scientific opinion as to when the beginning of life, as we know it, occurs.

South Dakota's legislature heard the cry of those who have been harmed by abortion and passed this bill to protect women and children.

The people are pro-life, particularly in South Dakota. The timing (of the law) couldn't be better and reflects the momentum the pro-life movement has today. It's not coming from the top, it's coming from the ground. It's a grass-roots movement that's propelling the legislatures, the governor, the president, and ultimately the Supreme Court to nullify the permissive abortion laws.

While they are making political maneuvers, we're trying to fight for the women of South Dakota. I hate to envision the day when the women of South Dakota are treated differently than the women elsewhere when it comes to safe and legal health care.
