Matt has a lot of ability and I think our team enjoys his leadership and I think he'll play well. I think the quarterback position will play well enough to win.

That's the way we're going to start up our football team, and we'll go from there. It's that way at every position. The person that's at the top of the depth chart knows he has to play a certain way or you give the second guy an opportunity to play. ... It's good to have these type of players at the quarterback position.

We are very proud of Matt and of our team. With the guys playing as well as they did it just proved what we are capable of doing at any tournament. We have two tournaments left to play and we want to win both of them. Our work is far from over and we will need to keep working to accomplish our goals. Matt and the team did a fantastic job. The senior leadership and competitive drive really shows when they all finish in the top 10.

That was a big play by Matt. The quarterback laid it up there and Matt got a good break on it.

The personality of the quarterback, he has a large plate and he is going to lead by example and by his play. That's basically where our football team is. Our players do rally around Eli and his play and that's the position he has taken and that's the way it should be.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. The quarterback position, we need to play better at it. We know we need to get going in the passing game. [Orton] will play better than what he played [against Green Bay]. You have games like this where you don't play your best ball.

I think the time has really benefited Matt. To know he's the starter, he was able to take the reigns of the team and prepare that way. We have great confidence in him as a quarterback. He's done very well in the games he's played in this year, and we think he'll play well against Miami.

They have really good, strong leadership. I think the quarterback position -- probably about 70 percent -- is about the human being, about the person's ability to lead. That's what excites me about these guys.

Matt, being the older of the two, has found himself in a leadership position on our team and he's taken Kyle along with him.

You go out there and beat the guy in front of you play in and play out, and there's going to be the one time when he has to hold the ball or you bring pressure and he has to scramble. If you're in the right position, you make the play. And in a game like this, it lets you get hits on the quarterback. If you don't get there, at least let them know you're there.

Lawrence Jackson

He's going to go right in and play quarterback. We'd be crazy not to watch him. I won't know until I let him get in there and let him play. He knows if he doesn't play quarterback here he would go to safety. I know he can play there. He's a natural leader. He's a heck of an athlete. I've liked Nate for two years now.

One thing that really drew me to him the first time I saw him play was his leadership ability within the team.

It's the nature of the position that only one guy can play the position. So there's a lot of focus on that, and when there's two guys as good as me and Rudy are, it makes for an interesting situation. But it's all how you look at it. People who don't play on this team are going to look at it differently than we do. We look at it as, we're all men out here and the best player's going to play.

You can't play this game if you don't have a quarterback. Matt is just starting to hit his stride.

His leadership on and off the court has been outstanding and his ability to play big in every big game that we've had just speaks volumes for his ability to play the game.
