It was difficult for us to get a stop, and we couldn't score any shots. ... We did not play well, but give Utah State all the credit. We had a bad game.

We had one of those nights in basketball where we went stone cold for three-quarters of the game, and we couldn't really score ... we just couldn't score. I don't really want to say we played that horribly without giving Miami's defense credit, because they played pretty good. It was just one of those nights. It happens to you now and then in coaching, but give Miami's zone defense credit.

I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. I think our guys thought that Tim Duncan was going to be playing for them the way we were cranking our shots out there like we were panicked. Whenever we got close enough to get over the hump, we seemed to be a step slow going to a loose ball. And then you have to give Lockport credit. They hit some big shots, did some good things.

When Lucas hit the 3 to send the game to overtime, we had a little momentum, but we also knew we had to play four more minutes of defense, especially with Clint out. Give credit to Riverside. They came in here and played the game they needed to play. And they have a kid we haven't been able to stop in two games.

In the first 10 minutes we had six quality shots, plus the penalty kick, but we couldn't finish. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. If we had half of those go in, then the game's over. But give Cambridge credit, they kept coming back at us.
