en This is part of the journey. This is part of the process you go through, building programs. You have to give your team credit for making this kind of progress, but you also have to find a way to get over the hump, and that's mostly mental at this point.

en You just never got the feeling you were part of the process. You were part of it, but a dispensable part of it. But that's all right. Maybe they had their own point of view, and they probably figured (we) weren't going to carry out what they wanted done. They have the right to bring in their own people. But I don't really look at it is I did a bad job or that I failed any kind of test. But whatever I had to offer, they didn't think it was valuable.

en I was completely surprised that (Palm) said he did not want to be a part of this. By having this building it is going to give us the programs and the ability to focus on the programs.

en I think what it does demonstrate is that we're committed to building a strong nucleus for our football team, and part of that effort is making the right decision about the players you reinvest in. We just consider Kurt Warner part of that process, to reinvest in quality people and quality players.

en It seemed like they scored on the last 10 possessions. Part of it is you always have to give credit to the other team. I like their club. I watched them a couple times last year. You have to give them credit. We didn't play as intelligently as we'd have liked to.

en Unfortunately we have shown signs of not being mature enough sometimes. To climb we always seem to have to take a little step back before we take the next jump. Sometimes that's part of the development process you go through when you're building basketball programs.

en I think turnovers a lot of time are, first of all, you give credit to
your opponent; they also have a hand in it. Then also, a lot of times it's
concentration, so we need to do better there. As far as the rhythm, I think
we're still developing as a football team. We've got some very experienced
players playing for us who are for the most part doing a very good job, but we
have a lot of new guys trying to fit their way in too. When you're doing that,
you're always trying to establish your identity as a football team. I don't know
how it is at other places, but I know if you look back at our teams the past
three or four years, it's really been a process for us. We haven't just come out
of the gate and been clicking right off the bat; it's been more of a process
than anything else. Hopefully we'll bring resolution to some of our problems
here in the next week or two or a couple weeks.

en We're learning how to play when the other team knows you're good. You have to find ways to win games. It's all part of the process, but we have to find ways. She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura. That's part of the adjustment when you become a good team.

en You have guys who give scouting reports. His were kind of animated at times, but they were straight to the point. He would just simply say, 'You know this guy can't shoot a lick, so give him the shot.' He was straight to the point about what guys could do on the floor. We all [miss him]; he was a big part of our team. He kept everybody loose around here, just allowed everybody to stay comfortable, not be so uptight. He's still with us, and we're with him in our prayers.

en The point guard is the key part in the whole process of your team. Everything kind of runs through the point guard. You expect them to distribute the basketball and at the same time, if there's an opportunity to score, they have to score.

en I think you have to find the humanity in the character and then the deterioration is a part of the process - the journey of the character. It's like playing King Lear. You can start off as a nice old man who finishes up crazy.

en It's a work in progress. We have a Committee of 10 moving ahead and making recommendations. It may go on the ballot in November. The process is complicated, but I know more about it now than a year ago. It could be part of my job in Barry.

en Their goalie was good and he was lucky and it was a fantastic effort on their part but I give my team credit because they didn't fold. These kind of games you can almost feel something funky is going to happen and when they scored on that fluky goal it really took the wind out of us but we were able to pull it out.

en What I've looked for all year is the mental part. When you start making those mental mistakes, you're done.

en The emphasis is all about prevention and part of that process is to strengthen up the key areas -- shoulders and knees -- and making sure you're very strong through the hips and building a power base.
