We are expanding to eight million tons next year from six million this year to meet demand, which just keeps getting stronger and stronger as China manufactures more.

The plan is to extract 7.5 million metric tons of bauxite every year in order to produce 2.1 million tons of alumina each year from the refinery.

Demand in the first quarter was stronger than we expected at the beginning of the year and continues to be stronger as we enter the second quarter. We also expect a strong second half, and are accelerating our investments in capacity to meet future demand.
