en It was a quick move. It shocked us, but he did a heck of a job. When he was out there he played like the old No. 11 at Penn State.

en I am excited to be able to congratulate the men and women who have worked hard over this past year and demonstrated the outstanding work that Greeks do at Penn State. We are hopeful that these chapters will be pioneers and role models as we move forward with our ambitious plans for enhancing the Greek experience at Penn State.

en We're the type of team that just likes to move runners over and get hits with two outs. We have to continue to do that if we want to win. [Penn State]'s played a pretty hard schedule so their record is no indication of how good they really are.

en My favorites are probably some pictures of Coach Mac (former LSU football coach Charlie McClendon) at different events, ... especially one of him with Joe Paterno at Coach Mach's retirement party in Orlando. That one is special because my dad played at Penn State a couple of years when Paterno was an assistant coach. Paterno was my dad's hero at Penn State.

en My brother and sister went to Penn State, and as I got older, I started to go to shows there and loved them. I always wanted to headline at the Crowbar. I know Penn State.

en There's something about Penn State that creates intense loyalty. We have a lot of people who come to Penn State and they are transformed when they get here. They get attached and it stays with them all their lives.

en As a player, we respect his ability a great deal. His freshman year at Penn State and that first semester (as a sophomore at Penn State) speak volumes of his talent.

en We know we'll have to raise our level of play. Russ (Penn State coach Rose) always has his team prepared. I have a lot of respect for them. If you lose to Penn State, it's not a loss to hang your head.

en Hopefully they won't let the Penn State match be a factor. Hopefully they understand Missouri is not Penn State. They're a much faster team.

en That's the reason I came to Penn State. I looked at other schools but when I saw Penn State's fans, I said, they love their football.

en Jimmy, God rest his soul, loved Penn State. He was a big, big fan of Penn State and Mr. Joe Paterno, and he probably still is.

en Penn State is Penn State, and I like what they stand for, ... I didn't want to miss their climb to the top.

en We played flat and we played down to their level, and that's been one of our problems all year. We had to push it up before they could make a run at us like the Penn State-Illinois game last week.

en She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. Those are all the things you don't think about as a player. ... It's tough to talk about what I'd rather be doing. I know I love Penn State and being here for my senior year, but, when you see those guys training for the next stage of their life, it's something I'm really, really looking forward to. But it's just not my time. We've got one more special year to have at Penn State.

en I'm not making excuses or apologies for how this team played. Penn State is the only team as young as us in the (Big Ten Conference). We played in the NCAA tournament. We just got bumped and our guys earned our way here....I certainly liked the way they played.
