You had some pretty good shooters just missing shots. It was both teams. It's not like we shot bad and it was still close. Belleville East struggled too.

We are very, very fortunate. Belleville East and O'Fallon are good teams. We lucked out and are SWC champions.

We know they have some shooters and we were real cognizant of where those shooters were. Sometimes we did a pretty good job, and sometimes they got their shot when they wanted it.

We had some pretty good shots but we didn't make them. You have to give (Belleville) credit, they played hard all night long.

What a beautiful shot he hit on 11. I'm standing with a five-iron thinking of hitting it close and he hits it stiff. And now I'm grinding to hit it close rather than just trying to hit a good shot. That's where you win matches, with shots like that.

I think maybe we just ran out of some steam. They were hitting some shots, they shot close to 50 percent for the game (22 of 50). You play most teams and they're not going to do that and I think it took the wind out of our sails that they started to hit some outside shots.

Hopefully, this will become an annual event for our Belleville schools. This isn't about competition among schools to see what has the best peace ball; this is to draw attention and to recognize and support and give positive feedback to kids who are being peaceful. From what I've seen, I feel pretty good about peace here in Belleville winning over conflict.

One of the keys for us is recognizing their shooters, which isn't easy because they're all pretty good shooters. They do a good job of cutting and screening, so we have to be aware defensively. They have some good athletes and some good shooters. They are very tough to guard.

Early, where he really struggled was getting shots. He became a jump shooter. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. He can make shots, but when that becomes the primary function, that's a problem. He's so good on the bounce; and when he plays the 4 or 5, they can't guard him on the dribble. He can hit the shot, but if they come up, he can go by them.

It's pretty obvious to me our confidence is shot a little bit and we're just going to have to work our way through it. We've got guys who are missing shots they can make.

I'm not worried about our offense. The guys that are missing shots, they're good shooters. Once that starts going, it's going to elevate us from a good team, to a great team in February.

First of all, they're both very good, and they present all kinds of problems. They've got shooters, once again we get to play teams with good shooters, and both teams have veteran players that have been through the war, so to speak.

They did a good job and were patient because most of the shots they hit were late in the shot clock. They got us to move and got us out of position and found some gaps. And they're good shooters.

I think I'm shooting pretty good, but I think I could be knocking a lot more shots down because I'm definitely taking open shots. I think I've done pretty well in that part, shot selection.

We do a good job of taking what the defense is giving us. In the second half we defended better, but we still had a tough time rebounding the ball, but that's a credit to Belleville East. They have good athletes and they were trying hard to win.
