It's going to come. ordsprog

en Not often do you lose a game when you shot over 70 percent in a half. It is tough to lose a game when you shoot that. I thought our offense was good and we made good decisions and (had) good looks. Its amazing how one little thing can change the outcome of the game.

en If that's the way we had to go, it was an incredible shot. It wasn't like one of us missed a shot at the end to lose the game. It was a tough way to go, but that's the NCAA Tournament.

en Sometimes in a situation like that, you'd just rather lose that game by 40 than to lose it by one like that. Losing like that, it hurts me more. To me, I felt like I let my team down. I know I could have hit that shot, but I guess you've just got to move on.

en We beat the stuffing out of them, but turned the ball over too many times. (It was) frustrating because they didn't win the game. We lost the game. We did everything to lose the game and we did that. We shot ourselves in the foot.

en They did a good job of jamming us up on that last play, not letting us get off a good shot. But we didn't lose the game on that last shot.

en They just shot lights out. They were like 9 of 12 in the first half from three-point range. Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

en I told our kids that we didn't lose the game on Kerry's last shot. We lost the game in the first 20 minutes when we scored only 14 points.

en I think our rebounding effort against Clemson is going to help us. This is what we're going to have to put together up there. We don't have anything to lose. If we can play with that sustained level throughout the game, it's a 2:00 in the afternoon game and we'll have a bunch of energy. It will be fun to go up there and take our best shot at them.

en It's going to come. You win some and you lose some. I'm not going to shy away from that shot at the end of the game.

en He just hit one of those shots. You wish when you hit a shot like that you win a game rather than lose a game.

en That's the kind of shot we want him to take. He makes that shot all the time in practice, so why not shoot it in the game? When he took the shot I was fairly confident the shot was going in. Any shot he takes I'll run with.

en He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. It's a tough way to lose a game. We had a lot of chances, but you're not going to score with only one shot in the third period.

en It was a tough way to lose, a hard-fought and very emotional game. And it was a great shot by Cal to win it.

en They shot 46 free throws, that's a lot. We didn't lose the game right there, they just played harder than us. They took it to us.

en That's our game. But in the college game, that shot clock makes a difference. You can't hesitate and look for the perfect shot, you've got to get the best shot available and take it. We just didn't get a lot of good looks in the first half, though.
