The coaches have been ordsprog

The coaches have been doing a great job of putting us in a position to win. We've been doing a great job of executing it. Z did that tonight.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

I think Ashley was probably the only one who played up to her capabilities. She played great D (defense) and kept us in the game. She had played well last weekend so I was close to putting her back in the position. I probably should have done it earlier. She'll be in that position tomorrow (tonight).

She moved so well without the basketball tonight and you have to compliment our girls because they did a great job looking for her. I?m just thankful the girls did a great job of executing the plays and setting screens for her and getting her a lot of open looks.

We kept putting ourselves in position to score and couldn't come up with the big hit. Ryan had another great outing. They have a great lineup one through nine.

They did a great job of executing in the fourth quarter. It came down to putting the ball in the basket. Rip Hamilton closed us out.

I kind of think his knowledge of what it's going to take, what we need to do, are going to hopefully pay dividends for us. But we realize Carolina has been in the same position that we have, maybe a couple more times than us. ... It's going to be a great game. There's two coaches and two great teams that are going to be pitted against each other.

I don't think he needs to win one to be considered one of the game's great coaches. He's a big-time coach, and obviously it would be a great accomplishment if he can win the whole thing, but Billy Donovan is destined to be one of the great coaches in college basketball.

They have great athletes at every position, they present a lot of problems for you. I think Karl and his staff have done a great job putting together an offense that's especially explosive, difficult to deal with and has answers.

Our defense played great. Absolutely great. We have a pretty good defense. Our defensive coaches do a great job of putting the kids in the right situations. We fly around and play hard on defense. You won't find many defenses that play like that. We're a handful on defense.

Marcus would love to come back. He loves the coaches. He thinks they have a great core of players, of which he is one. They have a great future. But our position is he receives fair compensation, especially as he gets more reps on defense.

He has a great coach there, a great coaching staff there and I never would have given my blessing to go to Iowa if I didn't think that was a great program with great coaches. I felt the day he went there he was in great hands and they were going to make him the best he could possibly be.

This was a great team win, they did a great job on the defensive end and executing on the offensive end. Our goal was to contest every three-pointer and I think we did a great job on that.

He was awesome tonight. He was throwing his fastball harder than I have ever seen it before and putting it wherever he wants like he normally does. He was throwing a good curve. You have to give a lot of credit to the defense. Buster (Posey) made a couple great plays, (Ryan) Strauss made a great catch. Everyone played a great game today. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. He was awesome tonight. He's a great coach. That's just my personal opinion and that's not just because I played for him. It's because I really believe that. He's a really good coach. He knows what he's doing. He's got the right philosophy, the right ingredients to win. It's about us executing. That's really what it's about. It's not about the coaches. They only can do so much.
