I'm so proud of ordsprog

I'm so proud of those girls. They played hard the whole game. When we went to Prairie Grove, we got blown out in the first quarter.

Prairie Grove literally took us to the hole with penetration the second quarter. I thought they played great the first half. But I told our girls that we had taken their best punch.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.

I'm proud of us. We came back and played hard. We got into a big hole in the first quarter but we were able to fight back. Late in the fourth quarter, we were able to make a push and give ourselves an opportunity to win the game. Both teams played hard, it's a shame somebody had to lose.

We played Prairie Grove just once this year, and we won 10-0 in five innings. They will be ready, but we will be, too.

I was very proud of the way the girls battled back and never gave up. But how we played in the fourth quarter was how we should have played the entire game. We still need to learn to play with a sense of urgency the entire game.

We started off hot to begin the third quarter and I thought the momentum was about to shift but they [Prairie Grove] settled down and got back in it. We just had trouble offensively, we couldn't get much going.

We finally put a whole game together and I am just so proud of the girls. We just played tough hard-nosed defense, contested every shot and tried to block out. The kids just stuck to the game plan and played really well.

I think if you look at this tournament, you can see where we played well, and it was a big confidence boost for us. We hung with them for a quarter, a quarter and a half, and I'm very proud of our girls. It was a great atmosphere, and we're fortunate that Dr. (Lawrence) Wyllie allows us to have a boys-girls tournament like this.

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up playing Prairie Centre (Long Prairie/Sauk Centre). She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. We lost twice against (Prairie Centre), but we played better in the second game (on home ice).

It is hard to lose a game this way. The girls played their hearts out. It was a back and forth game and I was very proud of them.

I don't think we've made more than two errors in a game all year. Prairie Grove put the ball in play, and we didn't help ourselves out.

This was a perfect game heading into the tournament. Union Grove came out to play and we needed to struggle and show that we could come back in the fourth quarter. We played a fantastic fourth quarter.

Somebody had to lose tonight and it was going to be a good team. The girls played hard and I couldn't be more proud of how they played. Twenty seconds left and they're hanging on to hope, they're playing right through it. They're classy girls. They've been that way all season.

All of the girls played really hard tonight. We struggled a little at the end with their press but we were able to make up for it on defense. The girls are all really scrappy and they aren't afraid to hit the floor. I am proud of the hard work that they are giving it shows in practice and at the games.
