He had big input ordsprog

en He had big input into me coming on the show. I was wary of coming back into that hour [drama] world, and to join a show that's already on - you never know the temperament of the set. You better love working there, because I can't tell you how depressing it can get if you don't.

en When I finish my editor's cut of one show, the dailies for the next show are already coming in. Yet I still have to work with the director, the writer and the producer on the old show while the footage for the new show is coming in.

en The whole idea of it is not to be the same two-and-a-half hour show every night, so people can keep coming back and have new experiences,

en 'Star Search' was an old-fashioned 'Ted Mack Amateur Hour' kind of a talent show. This is three dramas in one: the drama of the judges, the drama of the old becoming a rock star [and] grabbing the brass ring, the drama of the whole vote in, and all the rest of it.

en This is a once-off gig to ring in the New Year. We love playing gigs like this one as it gives us a chance to bring some real enjoyment to the show. Those coming along can expect a fun-filled show with plenty of music to get people into a party mood. There won?t be many ballads.

en It's been awesome. He's been pretty much carrying the whole organization on his back. He's doing a terrific job. He's been coming early, staying late, working on his game and that goes to show you how much he's maturing.

en Well, the thought came to me that, for many of us who did this show, and for many people who watched the show, just because Johnny left there, didn't give them the closure they needed.
