en I think growing up as an Asian American there has always been a label: they're quiet, they don't have a strong presence on campus, they don't stand up for themselves. I think we have a really strong presence on campus, and it's frustrating when people don't realize we're doing good things. I'm very proud of my culture, very proud of my heritage, so it's something I want to share with everyone.

en UH campus disc golfers have found that the security guards accept their presence on campus. Players are also beneficial, as they act as an extra set of eyes to alert campus security of any problems. Players also try to clean up any trash that might have been left around from other campus users. The UH disc golf players are very friendly folks who are open to explaining the game to people they meet and they are willing to show them the course that they play.
