This is a great family event. It's fun for the kids and educational for adults.

We've really focused on trying to make this event something that the whole family can come out and enjoy. While the husband is off looking at hunting and fishing exhibits and the wives are off looking at home improvement displays, the kids can be checking out the fine entertainment we have booked for them this year. And with ticket prices costing just $3 for adults and $1 per child a day, it's very inexpensive. Say you have a family of four, for just $8 they can come out to the Great Outdoors Show and enjoy great food, great entertainment and check out the various exhibits. That sounds like a pretty cheap day of fun to me.

I've had so many people in recent years talk to me about a need to foster something like this in the community for adults. There are a lot for things for kids ... (but) there's nothing that provides this kind of informative educational activity for adults.

It?s a great educational event. The kids love it.

It's been great for us. We've gotten to do things we've never dreamed of. When you go, you feel like family. You meet a lot of really, really good people. The kids and the adults make new friends.

But other than that, the lion's share of the event is geared toward adults, so that's why we have the need to do something for kids.

I think it's great for young kids. It's a traditional late-night event held early — definitely family-friendly.

In this town, we always have something just for adults or just for the kids. But this is for the whole family to enjoy and spend the day.

Adults bones aren't as flexible as kids'. Kids are more reckless. Adults may be more sensible, but their bodies can't handle some things.

This is definitely a home for a very active family. It has a lot of places for both kids and adults to play.

We're going to do our best to help meet these kids' educational needs while they're here in Texas. We want them to feel like they're a part of the Lufkin Panther family.

Christmas is the time when kids tell Santa what they want and adults pay for it. Deficits are when adults tell government what they want and their kids pay for it.

It's bizarre, because you'd kind of expect it to happen at the end but it happens right at the beginning, ... And throughout the film you kind of see my character constantly trying to get something off his chest, only his family and all the adults around him are oblivious to their kids and what their kids need. So there's this yearning for someone to listen to what his problem is.

It's going to be a good event and a great family event. It will be nice for the community to see the activities scouting provides for girls and boys.

Kids are constantly playing jokes on parents, and parents are thinking, 'If I could just get them back.' It's fantasy fulfillment for adults. We target it toward adults, but kids will want to watch, too.
