I just felt that our mistakes could have gone our way. We came out a little scared. Our games with BC are usually back and forth, but the girls really started to settle and the momentum shifted back and forth a lot.

The momentum shifted back their direction, and when it came crunch time, they stepped it up and we got scared. They picked up their defensive pressure, and instead of us reacting to that and stepping up to that challenge, we went the other direction.

He started dictating play in the second. I made a few errors early on, the momentum shifted and it was tough for me to get it back together. He's such a phenomenal competitor.

A huge momentum shift. Raphael's been huge. When we're not playing as well as we want to, he's a guy who goes out and works (hard) and you get the momentum shifted back our way.

That was the table-setter for our season. Now we just know how good we are and we can take it from there. That really shifted the momentum back to us.

I got some easy outs in some quick innings with some changeups to the lefties, ... Coming back and taking the lead, giving us momentum after the fifth inning, I just started feeling strong and stronger. I felt like my fastball was livelier. The wind stopped pushing so much at my back, which I think made my breaking ball a little bit better because early on I didn't think it was good.

To see a teammate put her heart on the floor like that is really touching. We struggled a little when she was out and when she came back in, it really shifted the momentum.

I felt like I tagged him pretty good, so that's what stunned me. I think Jason knew it, too. He started walking back to the dugout. Everyone makes mistakes.
