We are so pleased Dan was recognized for all of his efforts. He enjoys working with the American Cancer Society staff to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the daffodils.

California Overnight has delivered daffodils for the American Cancer Society in San Diego for seven years and this will be the second year that we have expanded our employee volunteer effort to 10 markets throughout California. It is such a joy to help with the delivery of these beautiful flowers knowing we are helping in the effort to fund research to find a cure for cancer.

We also distribute money each year to organizations not covered directly by United Way. If you donate and specify you want your dollars to go to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society, we make sure it gets there. Other agencies benefit from our efforts and we are thrilled.

I decided to put on a play to benefit the American Cancer Society. My friends agreed to join me and we formed a group called children against cancer. I have had two people close to me die from cancer. I felt the need to do something good in memory of them.

In 1976 I was appointed an American Cancer Society Research Professor and in 1986, Distinguished Professor. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. The works recognized by this Nobel Prize are clearly a group effort of achievement as may be seen from the names associated with our publications on EGF. They share in this honor.

Last year, the American Cancer Society spent $130 million nationally, with most of the money going into cancer research.

This is just a great opportunity to come together and raise money to prevent cancer, save lives, educate and support the American Cancer Society.

Tenet is dedicated to promoting quality patient care in the communities we serve. We are pleased that the American Heart Association has recognized the dedication and achievements of these hospitals and staff, and we will continue to build off this success.

The message that Linda wants to get across to American ladies is they need to be aware of ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is recognized only when it's too late.

We have wig care and last December, we were certified by 'Look Good, Feel Better,' part of the American Cancer Society, to teach cancer patients things they can do to look good.

Relay For Life is a celebration as well as a unique, challenging and fun way to raise money for the American Cancer Society and to raise cancer awareness in the community.

It's her personality. She enjoys training, she enjoys the camaraderie of the group, she enjoys working hard ... that's what made the difference for her.

We're obviously pleased with the drop in the crime statistics, and are quick to credit the collaborative efforts of the members of the police departments and various departments in the city working within the community to make Scottsdale a safe place to live and visit.

The codes in place to guide the construction of porches and balconies are to help keep the public safe. Our staff works hard every day to ensure that the buildings you live, work, play and learn in are safe. Probably the most important thing I tell people is not to overload the deck.
