en We wanted to come back to Weehawken and talk to the kids about college. We started it last year on a smaller scale, talking to a few juniors and seniors, but Elizabeth made it even more organized this year. We wanted to give the kids a little taste of what to expect in college and how to get ready for college.

en With so many changes set to occur and the prospect of financing a college education overwhelming anyway, we wanted to provide the community some unbiased information to help make the smartest financial decision possible. This workshop will provide timely information on how to reduce the total cost of a college education.

en It helps the kids. The ultimate reason we do this is to try to keep the kids in college. en It wasn't really her fault, but the end result was she didn't have the consistency that she needed to develop to where she needed to be. She had to pick it up in college, which is a very hard thing to do. When you are in college, doing college work, getting married and looking at graduating, it is hard to pick up everything that you missed before, and gain all the stuff that you are supposed to learn in college.

en There's a couple of other guys out there we're talking to. We like some kids that are unrestricted in college right now ... that had good years coming out of college hockey. It's a fine line. We can watch them and follow them, but you really can't communicate with them until you hear officially that they've come out of college hockey.
