en This campaign is about reform. It is about opening state policy-making to public scrutiny. It is about restoring the public trust.

en This just echoes what I've heard all over the state. State employees just don't trust the governor. They don't trust him with their pensions, they don't trust him to hire competent managers, they don't trust him with the state budget.

en Governor Schwarzenegger has demonstrated real courage, standing up to the public employee unions and standing up for the taxpayers who generously fund state government. California's past governor spent one time revenues on ongoing projects, which have led to the massive deficits that we are still working to pay off. California needs Prop. 76 to prevent this type of reckless spending from occurring in the future.

en The governor has said he will not balance the state budget on the backs of government workers, but he has also said that all across the state, families are doing more with less and they expect their government to do the same. Faced with a $6 billion deficit, we don't have a choice.

He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible.
