It was a bit ordsprog

It was a bit of a revenge game, but I think we had some first-game jitters. The first half they made it difficult for us. They played with a lot of energy and passion. The second half we regrouped and it went as how we had hoped. We played much more composed.

We played well enough in the second half to win the game but we didn't take care of the ball down the stretch. Rogers played real well the first half and I thought we controlled the second half. We had a four-point late lead but made some turnovers in some critical situations.

I'm really pleased. I'm mostly pleased with their determination. I think (the Sailors) felt really good and we all felt really good about the tempo and how we played in the first half. We came out in the second half and made a couple of bad plays and St. Pat's turned those into transition baskets. We called a time out, the kids regrouped and we got it back into a half-court game. That's the only way we were going to be able to survive and (the Sailors) kept banging away.

We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness.

Our ball pressure was very good and we rebounded well. I wouldn't say we played a great game, because I think we did have some playoff jitters in the first half, but we played a good team game.

What people say doesn't matter. The game is what matters. We played very well in the first half. They played just as well in the second half. All we did is what we're supposed to do. They kicked our butts the last game we played them. They'll come back.

Levi had a tremendous game. His energy and his intensity were high. He played with a lot of passion. He inspired us with his play in the first half.

T.J. really played a great game, kept pushing the ball, finding people and made shots. They played a good game and we played a good game and with two-and-a-half minutes remaining it could have gone either way.

As a group, I don't think it was our best effort. It is always tough to tie. It was a very exciting game and both teams could have won it. Our first-half performance was a level down and it affected the outcome of the game. We need to learn from that. We definitely came back in the second half and played with a lot more energy. It was a great battle.

This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

Offensively, pretty much the entire game, I thought we played very well. But we played an exceptional half defensively in the second half. We were just fair at best in the first half.

The first half was a very sloppily played game on our part. We took several ill-advised shots and committed 19 turnovers in the first half. But in the second half, we played much better.

We weren't pleased with our first half last game. We felt if we played better in the first half we could win tonight. It was all about effort and energy.

We played an outstanding first half. But I think we started to get nervous a bit in the second half. Our shots were falling short. I told the girls the game is like a roller-coaster. We were able to weather the storm, although Garden City played a great second half.
