en That's a credit to Brian. After a major injury like that, he really busted his tail over the winter. He was putting six hours a day into rehab. I can't say enough about the effort he made for us.

en We won't let him go days without throwing. It's important for him not to lose ground. I don't like guys in the middle of an arm rehab not be able to throw if they're healthy, because I think it can set him back. We'll make sure to exercise the arm while he strengthens the knee. If it all goes well, he should be long tossing and continuing the program fairly quickly.

I think, in his own mind, he's probably a little bit frustrated. But he's a team guy and he knows it's a long battle back.

en I think Shane will tell you he had concerns about going through the rehab and working his way back. Once he committed to it, he was determined to get back. We were happy with the results last year.

en We're beefing up our rehab services for the coming years, including cardiac rehab.
