It's kind of a freak injury for a pitcher. You never know where it comes from. We've been trying to stress mechanics even back to when he started his throwing program before this came up. We'll keep stressing it.

en He's got a few more sides [to do] to build up strength and stamina and work on a few things mechanically and then he should be ready.

en He's throwing fine. It's just building up strength and stamina and his pitches and tiring him out without going overboard with it, and we'll keep progressing from what we did today.

en I've been on throwing programs before, but this one is a little more structured, trying to build up arm strength. I'm doing extended amounts of sets, throwing 20-25 at a certain distance and then taking a little break and going back a little bit farther. I think I'm responding to it well. We talked about it last year, that's how it would be - take it a little bit slower or a little bit more methodical.

en The knee injury was a setback because he missed pitching time, but skill-wise it was not a setback.

en To think that President Hinckley has that stamina, that strength, that power to keep moving forward even in difficult times should be an example to the whole church to follow and have the same enthusiastic spirit that he has.

en I've been weight lifting for about five years, so I can show Tony some things to improve strength and stamina. He has been showing me the cardio things that are part of triathlons that he does. I enjoy spending time with him.
