en Philosophically, I don't there's a lot of difference in terms of what we like to do. His knowledge of the league and being able to define things internally in the organization, so you have everybody on the same page, are probably his greatest assets. That and recognition of what people can do - the strength of players, coaches and people in the organization - and putting them in position where they can have success doing it.

en Putting Karl Rove in charge makes no sense whatsoever, ... He has no resume and no skills other than running political campaigns -- and if he is being put in place to protect the president politically, that decision does not serve the best interests of the American people, nor of the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

en Unlike some chiefs of staff, he's made few enemies because he's such a nice guy. John Sununu (chief of staff to President George H.W. Bush) couldn't let anyone see the president unless he was in the room. Andy will bring everybody into the room to air their thoughts to the president. He doesn't keep people out for the sake of keeping people out.

en Corrupt political elites in the developing world, working hand-in-hand with greedy business people and unscrupulous investors, are putting private gain before the welfare of citizens and the economic development of their countries.

en Our players are the organization's most important investment. They already have some of the finest resources and traditions in all of sports, but they also need people to equal those standards. Rock is without a doubt one of those people. He's the best person for this job, and I consider this position as important as any on my staff. I've seen first-hand what he can do with professional athletes. Our players will be impressed.

en Overall I thought he played very very well. He's got the ability to change plays out there for us and he did some things there that I liked as well. He's such a competitor. en He's a very popular guy on this team and well thought of. He's been here a long time, ... He's got a lot of close friends on the team and on the staff and in the organization.
