I don't know how Tim feels … but we had a lot of Friday night first-timers out here, and it's kind of a wild card.

It's looking not very good. I haven't received that official word. The agent thought we were holding the draw (Friday) and he didn't want to hold a wild card that could go to another player. ... A week ago Sunday they asked us to hold a wild card. Every time he won another round (in Cincinnati) it crossed my mind, but I just thought his knees must be really strong.

At any rate, this is a wild card indictment, ... There's a wild card prosecutor and a wild card defendant.

I don't see any reason why I can't throw on Friday. We have starters for the next two days. We need a starter for Friday, so that's the day I'm shooting for. I feel terrible that I couldn't pitch. It's no secret that they're really good. To be honest, I don't think we'll win the wild card. I think they'll win the wild card. I like that team and the way they're playing right now. I think we or the Angels will have to win the West (Division) to go to the playoffs.

Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

That doesn't happen very often; everything kind of went to script. It all goes back to the job Morgan did Friday night. When that Friday guy goes out and burns up a lot of innings, it really helps the rest of the weekend.
